These Terms of Sale ("Terms") govern all bidding and purchases made through Auction Marketplace. By registering, bidding, or buying you agree to these Terms.
1. Registration and Eligibility
To bid you must register an account and may be required to pass identity verification. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
2. Bidding
All bids are binding offers to purchase. Once placed, a bid cannot be retracted except at the auctioneer's discretion. The highest bid accepted by the auctioneer at the close of a lot wins, subject to any reserve.
3. Buyer's Premium and Taxes
A buyer's premium is added to the hammer price of each won lot, together with any applicable taxes, duties and fees. The total payable is shown on your invoice.
4. Payment
Invoices are due within the period stated on the invoice. We accept the payment methods listed at checkout. Title to a lot passes only after payment is received in full.
5. Shipping and Collection
Shipping is arranged after full payment. Risk passes to the buyer on dispatch or collection. Shipping timelines and tracking are provided where available.
6. Descriptions and Condition
Lots are sold as described in the catalogue. While we strive for accuracy, descriptions are opinions and not warranties. Buyers are encouraged to review condition reports and images before bidding.
7. Returns and Disputes
All sales are final unless otherwise stated. Authenticity or significant description disputes must be raised in writing within the period specified for the relevant lot.
8. Default
If a buyer fails to pay, we may cancel the sale, resell the lot, and pursue any shortfall and costs. We may also suspend or terminate accounts for breach of these Terms.
